I don't know if many of you know this old PC game or not, but it was called AfterLife. Basically, you took the position of a higher being, and you controlled heaven and hell and tried to maintain peace between the two and the people within each one. It was basically sim city except with heaven and hell.

I was thinking that it could be converted to the DS possibly. Not saying I'm doing it or anything, but I'm just asking if it would be possible. This game is pretty ancient. Power PC ancient. Published in 1996 by Lucas Arts. Haha.

    So yeah.

Personally I'd like to see "Black & White" on DS, with multiplayer.

It's definitely possible. It might even be able to load in DosBox...

All those abbreviations are kinda funny SOUL (Stuff Of Unending Life) and EMBO (Ethically Mature Biological Organisms)
I kinda laughed when I saw god needs money

It is awesome. Also, there is no way to actually win, considering you just keep watch over heaven and hell. But, you can lose. Losing actually calls upon the "Four Surfers of the Apocolypso", if you don't get it it is based off the biblical "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse".

Here is the video of the ending.

that's actually one of the 3(i think) possible "game over" possibilities in the game according to wikipedia.
and according to the wikipedia the "win" ending is actually when you recieve access to a special building that provides souls with all their needs.
however it's like with rollercoaster tycoon games, winning isn't the end, you can just keep going.

B&W was kinda weak IMO anyway :[ Watched my friend play it often and laughed at how crappy it looked, and although I'd admit I didn't play it myself, it looks like utter crap. >_

    I doubt that will happen.

1)It's not opensource (pretty sure it's commercial)
2)Most people have their own agenda, it's hard enough to START a project and get help, it's impossible to ask and expect someone to just 'do' these things.

It is commercial, because it is by Lucas Arts. So yeah.

However, the game was also run under DOS, so that may be possible for the DS, right? If you can get ahold of a DOS version?
