As the title says,After installing B9S and luma 8.0 everytime I tried running certain games (example : smash bros, new super mario bros 2,super mario 3d land) i got a lot of process errors, reinstalling the games only fixes it for a while then it goes back to the same problem, any help or advice would be appreciated :) thanks in advance.

This is assuming you're talking about exception errors. I'm not sure if it's the same thing or not.

yeah it's like that, and also process errors of processes that are in the rosalina menu

    — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! —

it's kind of ironic that crashes started happening more often after making crash dumps a thing

also hourly/nightly updates have been disabled in the latest Luma3DSUpdater so I guess rip for now
But i'm still open for more suggestions so post them down below ! :) thanks again !

If you read what I said about Luma Updater, I mentioned hourlies are still available in 2.1.1.

No this is something else to do with the processes, this one I got on super mario 3D land, this is what it exactly says :

    An error has occured :
    error type : generic
    Process ID : 38
    Process Name : CtrApp
    Process Title ID : 0x0004000000053f00
    Address : 0x001eca28
    Error code : 0x960454b
it seems like the one the ones that have 38 as their process id (or the last one in the process list, I THINK) is the one that always crashes

So yeah disabling exception handlers did not solve the problem

Official 8.0 is buggy (github open and closed bug/fixed reports will show you the issues), just wait for 8.1x or use the latest commits for now.

Understood, I think it may have something to do with my console being an o3ds,but we'll see.

I'm on an o3DS and Luma 8.0 +b9s and haven't seen this issue. There's probably more to it than just being on an o3DS

There are issues, which some are not reproducable (once only) bugs or user dependent/setup/circumstantial. For one, I rely a lot on language/region emulation because I use a JP N3DS, yet version 8.0 Luma is completely screwed for this but fixed in later commits, yet I dont like using nightlies, etc.

What works for one, will not for another and there were issues that were 100% reproducable.

So I guess I'll just wait then till a fixed ver. of luma comes out, that's the only idea i have on fixing this

On my o3ds I have no issue on menuhax. On my n3ds running b9s and luma 8.0 I have the same issues as this guy.

I got the same issue on my region changed 3ds
It was originally a Japanese 3ds, then I change it into a USA console following plailcet's guide
For now, I found two games that will break, which are ever oasis and heroes of ruins
Wish there's a solution for this

BTW, I've seen plailcet saying that CTR transfer will break reboot patches
And formatting your system can solve this
I'll try formatting my console as soon as I get a card reader around and will report then.

PS: forgot to mention that my console is 11.4 with 1.2 b9s on luma 8.0

So basically luma 8.0 is unstable as fuck and we just have to wait for a new ver,I guess.
