Hacking After formatting the microsd of my cfw system, I have no way of reinstalling FBI?

After not using my cfw n3ds for a year, I came back to find that the microsd had corrupted data, and was basically unusable. I reformatted the microsd which to my understanding leaves the cfw but erases must have utilities such as FBI. I followed the 3ds hacks guide but I'm stuck on a step. Running frogtool off steel wars homebrew launcher takes me to the menu where I select "INJECT patched DS Download Play" which gives me the message "You already have CFW!" Without this step I cannot launch FBI installer, since seemingly I cannot do that from the steel wars launched homebrew launcher.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Which luma version do you have actually installed?

This tool is only for injecting a patched flipnote studio to execute b9stool to install boot9strap.

I hacked my 3ds roughly 2 years ago, it was a lengthy process and I've forgotten basically everything I had done. I've spent the last 3 days following guides, some too old, some meant for stock 3ds consoles. I had no idea there was a separate guide mostly because I don't even remember what A9LH and B9s even is.

A9LH is not longer supported. All future releases of Luma3DS will only be made in the .firm format, which will only be compatible with boot9strap/sighax.
