Its nice to see that even though Virtual Boy was a failure they've learned from their mistakes.
They also never gave up on 3D. And I think the 3DS proves they were right. The technology just needed time to mature.
Imagine a day when all 3D visuals are displayed without glasses. It may be far off but I'd bet its coming.
Assuming he meant although this is a dedicate gaming device it branches to other entertainment.
I hate to say it but I think Nintendo is following Sony's lead with the whole games + multimedia thing.
Don't NA 3DS systems come bundled with a music video?
You'd think they'd have 3D movies on the 3DS but Nintendo warns people not to use the 3D feature for over 30 minutes at a time. So I guess those netflix videos will be mostly in 2D.
At least they are not going to iproducts in terms of games.
I think that warning is just to cover themselves and doesn't really mean anything.
Not going on this way is trying to go against the tyde... multiservices are the way to go.
Read a few lines then remembered that I got all this info already from Iwata Asks.
The 3D looks cool as long as your dead on. Even tilting it slightly made it all blurry for me. Even with the slider halfway.
Seems like it'd be annoying.
Does this happen to everyone?
they never bundled the 3DS with any video's.
they provided a little preview video with the 1st update for all regions.
the exact video depends on the region though.
japan had a group of people playing mario music, and europe got a music video made of short 3D video recordings.
Pretty interesting and some good amount of info about the companies past .
