Hacking after autorcm SX OS V1.4 menu freezes at start

I tried the autorcm boot up for a few startups now i can't get into the album folder to install without it freezing. It says scanning but the circle is frozen and never does anything. I tried uninstalling autorcm and rebooting again but it doesn't work either. I tried another sd card that had xci files on it and it does boot into that menu normally. I have tried over writing the payload and boot.dat with the same ones and still nothing. The games already installed work but i can't add or even access anything else. I have also scanned the sdcard for errors a few times and nothing comes up.

its a real sd card i bought it for best buy and it was originally 400.00 got it on sale for 200.00 It worked fine until i tried autorcm but i will test it anyway. I deleted the license dat it at least let me back in to put the code in again. But after that it still freezes.

Auto RCM has nothing to do with your sd card. Your boot.dat is most likely corrupt

i will try another version but i copy and pasted over the one on the sd card with the original one that has worked on multiple sd cards.


update: that didn't work either



do i need to reinstall autorcm?

Hold the Vol+ button as you connect the USB-C and see if it helps.

I downgraded back to SXOS V1.3 and it worked again, then i tried SXOS v1.4 again and it still freezes

Mine was from day 1 with SXOS until i tried AutoRCM for a few minutes. Now i can't get SX OS 1.4 to do anything. Even after deleting, redownloading from the website it still freezes everytime. Any other version still works though

format the sd card, i do have autorcm on with no problems.

That seems pretty sucky so i will wait until 1.5 comes out and hope that fixes it. I just went back to 1.3 and Pokemon Quest method for NSP. I was powering off and on a lot to see how it worked and may have done something

I do now. I preferred the SXOS version because my son likes Pokemon Quest but i can just install the games then move the SXOS folder afterwards so it starts again.

Had this issue also ran thought process of removing nsps xci's and all homebrew still stuck scanning even with nothing else on card . Have two more of these exact same brand cards (they both took the upgrade to 1.4 no issues no stuck on scanning ). Only formatting it allowed it's use again with 1.4. Really weird.
