Advice needed! *Work*

So....my managers a dick head. I know most managers are but he's always slagging everyone off behind their backs n he always takes out his anger on staff. The other day after work he wanted to have a chat to me about a disagreement we had about me notifying him about mini jobs that needed to be done in the warehouse. He reckons i didn't notify him when i clearly did, he asked me not to argue with him about it and i said to him, "don't worry about it, it was a misunderstanding, no need to carry on arguing about it forget it" .... he then proceeded to ask me about how job hunting was going for me (I'm looking for another job currently...cos i cant work with that prick anymore) I told him id probably stick about for another month at least, he then said "you,re not doing yourself any favors" to which i replied, "what because we had a small lapse of understanding n miscommunication" he then actually said, "i better end this conversation now before i smack you in the mouth"

What should i do? I'm thinking about making a official complaint and taking it to head office. I also spoke to another colleague today who told me she heard him talking to the assistant manager before talking to me and that he directly said, "you better keep james away from me cos I'm going to knock that c**t out!" She said she'd write a statement to say what she overheard for me.

Any advice, this guy is making me not want to go to work because he's a bully.

It's either me complain and hope he gets sacked or get him beaten up for being a prick.

Yeah, defiantely leave for sure.

Complain after you've left...then he can't fire you for doing so.

Also, if you get a chance, make sure to knock that cunt out.

Make a formal complaint to higher management right away, people should never be threatened or feel threatened in the workplace.

If the formal complaint isn't taken seriously go to the police.
