Just need a quick bit of advice.
I have an NTSC Wii (serial starts with LU50) which is still at 2.2U, it's fitted with an original Wiikey 1 at 1.9s - I have not used it in like a year or more!!!
I now want to get it up to date, and have a couple of questions.

    1) If I follow the 'Modify any Will 4.2 and below' sticky, will this be OK, or is there another guide I need to follow?
    2) Everything these days is about softmods, will having the Wiikey in there cause any problems, or is it still a benefit?
    3) Can you load ripped .wad files (e.g. stuff off the Virtual Console etc.) off of an SD card these days?

Once I know the above I should be OK!

    1) Following that tut will be OK
    2) It shouldn't cause any probs, somebody may be able confirm/deny this who has Wiikey
    3) Ooooooh yes

Forget all that... heres what you do.
    1)Rent a delorean
    2)Install flux capacitor
    3)Get up to 88MPH! [IMG]

    This planet
    1) That guide is fine
    An alternative is my own

    2) The wiikey will not affect your softmod
But it will allow you to run disc backups at full speed. (Which is an advantage)

    3) Yes, through the SD card menu or Triiforce.
The first one needs a patched system menu IOS (but xzxero's guide will give you that)
