Advice for Wii U - USB to Ethernet 2021

Hello Everyone, I would like to have some advice related to my shopping , because I'm going to buy an adapter USB to Ethernet for Wii U ; to minimize the interference between all the WiFi devices around.

So, can I get any USB to Ethernet or I need to follow some specific specs? Like, can I buy the Adapter USB 3.0 to Ethernet 1 Gigabit 10/100/1000 for Wii U , or I must to get the USB 2.0 to Ethernet 10/100 ?

And the Controller chipset , need to be like AX88772 A/B/C ? Or I can get anything?

Hello.

USB 2.0 is enough because the Wii U is not take advantage of faster USB Devices.
If you like to use your Adapter also for PC and you have very,very fast Interent,
then you maybe could buy an 3.0 (+) Device.

For your Buying Recommendation,I use this for the Wii U and Wii but NOT the Wii Mini !!! (and sometimes on the PC):

I know that the USB 3.0 cannot take any advantage from Wii U, my concern was just if compatible with 3.0 because at least I can use in the future for something else instead of to take the USB 2.0 just for the Wii U. But in this case, what do you think I'm going to risk that the USB 3.0 ( and the Chipset from the USB 3.0 it's the AX88179 ) will not work with the Wii U ?

There is unfortunately no Warranty,that the UGreen (or any other) 3.0 Device is working reliable and properly.
Also this:

Compatibel with Laptop, PC, Tablet, TV Box, PS4/3, Xbox One, Raspberry pi 4/3/2 , Switch, Xiaomi Mibox usw.

seems to be not a good Idea to buy the 3.0 Version.

The UGreen 2.0 Adapter Description says clearly:

Compatibel mit Wii, Wii U, Mi Box S / Mi Box 3, Windows 10 / 8.1 / 8/7 / Vista / XP, Mac OS 10.5 und höher, Linux-Kernel 3.x / 2.6.

So,it seems a 50:50 Percent Chance for the 3.0 Device.

WOW , as always you are number 1 Alexander !!!!!! It's exactly the info that I was looking for , about the USB 3.0 Compatible, thanks a looot ‍.

This time I was a bit lazy to test around, otherwise no fear at all , I will proceed to purcase the UGREEN USB 2.0 .
