Advice: Avoid bright screens in the dark (eye floaters)

I noticed an increase of them.
How often do you guys see them?
The worst is looking at snow on a sunny day.

The VR aspect is an interesting question; never tried VR.

@leafeon34: You really find it more comfortable with other light sources? I find them distracting but I do it anyway now because I don't want it to get worse.

Well, in the 40 years I’ve been using consoles and computers, I’ve spent a lot of time using them in the dark. Starting with CRT screens, then DLP, Plasma, LCD and OLED and a few different types in-between, I’ve experienced no side effects and my eyesight hasn’t changed in 3 decades.

But I suppose there’s no harm in people taking precautions if they like.
