Gaming ad-hoc party

so i just got my ps3 and wanna know how to use ad-hoc party. all i know is it requires a game like KHBBS or KHBBSFM or project diva, a ps3, and obviously a psp.

Start Ad Hoc Party
Find/Create a room
Play.

(Not all games are officially supported but still might work)

so its a built in feature in certain psp games? im still new to ps3.

No, it's to do with how Ad Hoc works with those games.
Some newer games (like God Eater and Dissidia) had Ad Hoc Party in mind so they're supported.

well i know KHBBS+KHBBSFM, dissidia 1 and duodeicem dissidia 12 have ad-hoc capabilities.

i think hatsune miku project diva and project diva 2nd have ad-hoc.

so how do you start ad-hoc party is it something you do on the ps3 or does it work as long as my psp is connected to my ps3(not literally connected)

Project Diva 1st/2nd is just 'card' trading IIRC.

Just because a game has Ad Hoc doesn't mean it will work, like I said before different games have different ways of connecting.

Ad Hoc Party should have some instructions of what to do.
It (kinda) works the same way as Xlink Kai where you start Xlink Kai/Ad Hoc Party, create a room, once people have joined fire up the PSP game and start a game through there and then people will be able to join.
