    Hello, I have been reading the forums for months now... and I was wondering, where can I go to read about actual homebrew projects that are going on for the GC/WII/DS? All I ever read about on here are people installing the modchip, or people making cheats for games. I dont see much of any real homebrew talk going on ; ;

First: this may not be the best place for homebrew dev discussion but it does happen here.

Wii homebrew: Wii remote implementations and the odd thing like dual layer DVDs aside there is no Wii homebrew. The former happens everywhere (see somewhere like youtube and the latter I am not sure about (maxconsole and the now dead tehskeen I think were the main "postings" although that is mainly the GCOS and such developer hangouts rather than the rest of it)

GC: same as wii really (the homebrew "scene" despite having somewhat of a resurgence with the Wii was pretty much dead/very slow before then and most sites had gone under from inactivity). The resurgence as harsh as it may sound was more of a recompile with different access methods (ISO making, SD access (via the GC memory slots) and just stick it on the disc are the main three methods) and and a few bugfixes fest.

DS/GBA. Flash card forums are one source (bigger homebrew projects/ more organised devs often have their own forums as well).
    English:
The odd discussion does happen in general coding forums but the main focus so to speak happens at gbadev:

Flash cart forums (unofficial and official) are good sources.
Next you have the French language forums, it might just be me but I find these are the only really active non-English language forums for this sort of thing.
PaLib, playeradvance and dev-fr are the main ones that I use (their affiliates are the next best places to look). I do not know how well you know French but tech discussion is often fairly hard in a language you are not proficient in.
    Still

The other sources are really author's blogs/sites and sites like GBATemp but in other languages (most authors are kind enough to post somewhere which then gets picked up). Here is my short list in no order whatsoever (and containing links I already gave):

http://boards.pocketheaven.com/ (not good for all that much day to day wise but worth the odd visit)
    http://www.gbarl.it/
    http://www.ndsbbs.com/
    http://www.moddz.com/index.php
    http://www.pdroms.de/
http://ameblo.jp/boya-psp/ (one of of the few half decent Japanese news sources I have found, not as good as the other sites above it though)
yyjoy and hacken.cc are decent chinese sites although their focus has somewhat shifted over the last year or so.

Apologies for distorting the subject of the post but it is nearly 2 in the morning and I am not up for making something more comprehensive.

Thank you for the information. Ill check out everything you listed.

One of my favorite websites for homebrew seems to have died so I really didnt know where to go from there (and yeah, I did search the web but didnt find anything quite as good)
