call of duty shouldn't make a mmo they should continue with the series they have going now and leave it at that I'm a fan of Call of Duty but a mmo is going too far and will flop and if it doesn't then I will be greatly suprised.

    So true.

The subscription based thing is the biggest load of bullshit I've seen. Let's face it, CoD is one of the most popular online console games ever. Activision is just being a greedy bastard here and saying "Hey, let's charge them monthly to play it!" Sure, the map packs and DLC will come free, but that definitely doesn't warrant a subscription cost.

Hopefully those 2 IW bosses make a new studio and when they make a game, it sells a shitload.
Those 2 deserve respect, not following orders of their superior.

the reason why CoD MW2 won the market was gameplay and multiplayer (mainly gameplay)... to change the system means upgrading was is working fine

More like Gears of Duty, so it won't be a FPS and it's gonna be subscription-based? I'll pass, thanks Activision.
IW should just make their own FPS and take it in a complete different direction from the CoD series.

I'm not going to buy MW2 until its price drops by at least half I buy games mainly for mutliplayer because I like having a laugh with my mates and I'm more of a console person (360) and MW2 is full of cheaters, glitchers and boosters so the multiplayer in MW2 is crap whilst the single player is enjoyable but once you've seen it once that's about it.
If they are not careful Battlefield is going to take the lead as the top selling FPS with it's bad company series as in my opinian not only is the multiplayer great but the single player is EPIC and hilarious.
CoD as a MMO will FAIL why pay a subscription for something you can already get elsewhere as a one time payment? they should fix what they've got and then improve it with more options, weapons, maps, game modes.
    • CoD + co-op campaign (up to 4 people ONLINE).
CoD Multi-player (plus guests, guest feature is always great to have when you have a friend around).
CoD Challenge Mode (up to 4 people ONLINE) - this mode would have challenges in it where you and 3 friends (or randoms) have to complete certain tasks before you die or time runs out e.t.c. (like a mini campaign mode with a difference).
Call of Duty4 Modern Warfare has in my opinian better multi-player than MW2 due to all the boosters in MW2.
Call of Duty 2 multi-player was just EPIC and the single player was awesome aswell.

CoD:MW2 didn't win because of the gameplay it won because of the brand name, the single is good yes but multi-player meh.

they shouldn't just look forward but they should look back aswell at the things that were a success and things that...well.....sucked.

You're judging a game based on the people who play it, way to go. We all hate noob tubers, campers, boosters but that goes for every FPS game and it will continue to happen, it happened in CoD4 too, get over it. Just ignore them and play the game.

noob tubers and campers aren't a problem its the glitchers and boosters when I played it we didn't get a decent game for 2 hours all others were full of boosters and glitcher's so by definition this makes it a bad game to play online until its fixed but christ knows when that will be after the current IW affairs

Boosters don't affect you so no point whining, glitches on CoD4 was a pain but luckily most of them could only be done in old school mode, which I never played anyway, there's no glitches in MW2 afaik anyway, and when there are they get patched within a few days.

Makes no sense though. Isn't IW their own company? How can the head of a company get fired by another company?
