Gaming Acquiring Mii Plaza puzzle boards

In StreetPass Mii Plaza, how do you acquire more puzzles in the puzzle piece finding game? I have 3 3DS's that continually talk to one another: a Japanese Old 3DS, an American Old 3DS XL, and an Australian New 3DS XL. I'm American.

For some reason, my American and Australian 3DS's were able to acquire every puzzle by seeing each other and other 3DS's here in America, but my Japanese 3DS isn't getting any new puzzles at all. My Japanese 3DS is able to get puzzle pieces just fine from everyone else, but it didn't take very long for it to get every piece in the 6 initial puzzle boards.

Anyone know how I'm supposed to get the new boards to trigger?

To get the extra puzzle pieces you need to have Spotpass activated in Streetpass Mii Plaza. Check if that's whats wrong.

Yep, that was the problem. I don't know enough Japanese to notice such a thing was wrong. Thank you!! <3
