Acekard 2i is completely compatible with Acekard 2, besides, the 2i works on DSi.

Yes and Yes, as they stated it functions exactly like the ak2 its just boots up differently.

As far as I can understand it works on the DS and DS Lite as well. Also, it will be fully compatible with the normal AceKard 2 / AceKard 2.1. That means that the updates will work on any AceKard 2.

Also, I don't think Team AceKard will discontinue support any time soon.

Even if they did discontinue support like they have apparently done with the AK+ and possibly the AKRPG (doesn't get many updates these days). AKAIO will always keep things up to date. I support the AK+ even though i don't yet have one to test on.

Still, you do it completely for fun, right? I use the AceKard 2 with AKAIO on it, and it's great! Still, if Team AceKard would stop support, that would be a bad sign. After all, you can always stop working on AKAIO, and that would mean the end of the AceKard 2 in that case.

Can be used as a Passme to boot from slot-2 flash carts. Run GBA games by using expand cart

The Acekard 2i can be used as a passkey, so you can boot your slot2 flash carts with it.
AK2 also support 3in1 expansion cart. You can run gba games from MicroSD card directly.
*You need insert MicroSD card with OSMenu to use Passme function.
*Expansion cart sold separately.

I'm confused. Is the Acekard 2i a different cart? As in Ak2, AKRPG, AK2I?
