Hacking AceKard works on DS Lite but not DSi?

I bought an acekard a few months ago and noticed that it was freezing on the games on my DSI. When I put it into my old DS lite, it ran like a charm. The AceKard is fake, would that change anything, or is it the DSI?

if it boots and works on the dsi, but freezes intermittently... then you have a contact issue. something which is much more common on the dsi/dsi xl than the ds lite.

however, i am assuming you have a 1:1 clone? if you have something fake like an acekard3 or whatever, then it is probably the card more so than a contact issue.

It's not too obvious that it's fake but upon closer inspection you can see that the A is disconnected, the DSi compatible is bold and the 2 is lighter. I will try looking into the contact issue.
