    Hi.

I have an Acekard 2i in my DS Lite, and when I try to activate cheats to trimmed games, the "Cheats" menu isn't shown.
    I am using AKAIO 1.8.1.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sure it does.
If the cheats aren't showing, then your games been patched or modified in some way other than trimming.

Solution: Get a clean copy of the game.

I think it's only when the games are trimmed, because I can use cheats on Pokemon HeartGold with Expert Mod and Pokemon White English Patched, for example.
But in a Pokemon mod which size isn't 128 MB, for example, I can't use Cheats.

Happens in every game which size is not standard.

How are the games trimmed? I trim every single one of mine and they always work with cheats.

I agree, which tool are you using for trimming? I recommend NDSTokyoTrim, works every time.

    I didn't trim the roms.
For example, a pokemon hack I downloaded had size=120 MB, and the game doesn't show any cheats.

Then the problem is the hack, not the trimming. Change the Game ID in the database to match that of the hacked ROM.

    FINALLY! cheats worked!
The previous times I used r4cce and selected the hacked rom didn't change the Game ID, now curiosely did it.
    Thanks!

Everyone here was confused because off your incorrect use of the word "trimmed". Trimmed, although means making the NDS file smaller, implies that you used some sort of program to cut excess data. However, you did no such thing, you patched the NDS file with a mod which made the size smaller; if you had stated that instead of "trimmed", this problem would have been resolved in two posts at max. I can see how someone can make that mistake but I assure you, they're not the same thing.
