I'm not sure what's causing this, but my acekard 2i will not load saved files from certain games (Dragon Quest IV, Dragon Quest V, and several Mario games). I had an r4, then dstt, and now acekard 2i.

pay attention to the the extensions of the saves, nds.sav or .sav
also when you change your card save type may change. 256k or 512k
