Gaming Acekard 2i + 3DS (US) + Pokemon Black 2 (JPN)

Since I heard the 3DS having region lock, just wondering is the game Pokemon Black 2 (Japanese version) playable using Acekard 2i if I got a US 3DS?

ds games aren't region locked so yeah

The Acekard doesn't run off of 3DS mode.
It runs on Ds/Lite Mode therefore it won't be able to region lock it.

Now if you were using the actual Pokemon Black 2 cartridge... Playasia made a fool out of you
