So many good news for Ace Attorney fans lately.
Oh good, so I can get official subtitles with NA character names in them.
Dubs? Who said anything about dubs?
If this won't be direct-to-DVD and targeted specifically at the fans then it will spectacularily fail.
No offense, but from what I've seen so-far, the movie has absolutely nothing to offer to people who did not play the game, really.
Awesomesauce. I'll actually watch this now.
Well who else would it be targeted at?
And of course it'll be direct to DVD. Nobody in their right minds would air this in American theatres.
Unless it was someone who had a lot of money to waste and then aired this for the lulz.
In all seriousness, I'm glad it's coming over. I just hope Netflix gets it so I don't have to buy it, and even better, I can watch it on my 3DS without any conversion necessary.
Oh, I'm not so sure. Remember that America is the land of "Troll" and other breathtaking B-Class movies. As far as marketing, I suppose that if they were able to find a person who lived under a rock for the last 10 years it's entirely possible that they could pass it as a standard "court case drama", and if that were the case, the movie yet again would only be enjoyed by a limited audience who actually knows what's going on better then the distributor.
It's an entirely believable scenario. ;P
Tim and Eric is coming to theaters. There's definitely a possibility that this could be all over the silver screen.
This is the best news ever
Nice. Good to hear it's gonna be a worl wide release.
The phoenix in the movie makes me laugh.
And thanks for the new OJclock.
is there a bigfoot in the movie!?
because i can certainly see a furry d**k in the top left corner .
it would be hard for me to look at that phoenix because he didnt look asian at all in the games
wow... the movie subbed, great job guys... now all we need is ace attorney investigations 2.... am i the only one who still wants it in english?
but back on topic, does look interesting hope it will be better than what we expect.
Well in the localization he isn't. Phoenix Wright is American (supposedly), but Ryuchichi Naruhodo is Japanese, since the games take place in the respective countries.
are the sprites different in the japanese game or is it just the name?
they just had to do it! they will definitely get the returns they want.
i just hope the translator is the same as those who did the game translation.
No, they look identical.
