Get ready to step back into the courtroom, because Capcom has announced an Ace Attorney anime series that will debut next year. Going by the character designs shown, it appears to take place during the original trilogy of the franchise.

Ace Attorney is one of the few games that I think works well when you turn it into a movie. *cough*

There was a live action movie in Japan once, so there's that as well.

Not impossible that it will have new stories instead of adapting the games as-is, like the manga did.

An adaptation of the stories though would be interesting, but there's likely to have some things left out, like a good part of the investigation was being done through Phoenix's eyes, and there was much run around to do. It would be possible to streamline those parts though, less going to Point A to find a clue that you missed so that Point B can continue.

If it does get dubbed, I'll probably be disappointed. I hated the voice changes to Phoenix that happened later on in the series. His "objection!" and "hold it!" sound so awful now.

Dangaronpa anime adaptation was a complete disaster, so I don't expect much of this Ace Attorney adaptation.
It could be fine if they create new cases for the anime, but I doubt it.
