Hacking Accidentally booting CFW on SYSNAND. Flagged for ban?

My Switch is almost always connected to the internet, so yes.
The Xenoblade ones are just config file changes iirc.

Ok one last question. Is ips patch similar to config file? I searched through some of the mods and noticed that most of the mods are placed in the atmosphere folder. Do this mean the game will be played unmodified but rendered according to the settings on atmosphere folder? Thanks!

ips patches patch an nso (Switch executables).
Like everything else, they're temporary and their effects go away after removing them.

Most titles don't do anything to detect NSO patching, but a few do (ex. Splatoon 2).

I did this once before by accident maybe a year ago. Basically, I forgot to copy the the emummc config files to my SD so it booted sysnand instead. I realized my mistake immediately after booting. No ban or any issues.

Hi, I have read the thread, and i d to like to know, if i run atmosphere from sysnand, play "backup" games, and shutwdown the console, extract the SD. Turn on the nintendo switch console, and play original games from eshop, and buy new ones, can be my Nintendo Switch get banned? (When i run CFW, the wifi is completly off EVER).

There is always a risk of getting banned when bringing a hacked console online. Whether or not you will be banned is up to Nintendo, not us.

Anyone know why? because the firmware is not being modified, is about logs in the console? Maybe anyone has more technical details about how this work, because the use of atmosphere does not modified the firmware, even i do not use autoRCM, so i think never touch the firmware, but when we install games maybe there, or logs... It would be interting know about how nintendo detects this.

Logs is one answer however it is hard to say as Nintendo are the ones who ban us.

hi i booted accidently to sysnand dont know why i was using tinfoil and reset to sysnand is my nand still clean i instantly turned off i was on emmunand when used tinfoil what should i do my clean back up is on 11.0.0 and now im on 11.0.1 onmy nand

my clean backup is in older version , now im on 11.0.1 and that backup is on 11.0.0 nothing would happen? i cant continue with the stock that im right now? it only booted to sysnand with aireplane mode, the tinfoil was saved to emmunand and not showing the nps when i boot on sysnand cfw.. it should not be still safe?

All I did on CFW sysNAND was to restore a game save from Checkpoint. Got banned not long after. This was shortly after Pokémon Let's GO were released. If only there was a way to transfer game saves without using Checkpoint by injecting them directly into a sysNand backup and restoring it.

where you using wifi conection? most likely you will get banned, all games that uses cloud saves and you restore it it will get you banned.

Pokémon Let's GO doesn't use cloud storage. I had Wifi off.

lol im based on the guy with the mask on youtube he said he is injecting hacks to his pokemon on sysnand and playing online with that also from animal crossing, i just boot into sysnand and did nothing no open galery just went to see my system was with an S 11.0.1/atmos 0.16.2 / S and said wtf i hope im still safe

i was afraid of ruining the switch i just made a new backup on 11.0.1 and im praying to nothing happen,since i just booted on sysnand with no activity there no oppening album neither doing nothing i just checked it was sysnand cfw and turned off.

As long as your backup was void of any CFW or homebrew, you will be fine.
