Hacking about extra memory for DS-X

I got a DS-X coming from realhotstuff and I have a 1gb Kingston microSD card (originaly purchased for the ninjapass x9, but order was cancelled bc the DS-X is getting here faster)

my question is - what if I get a supercard or M3 for the slot-2, can the DS-X interact with the slot-2 device kinda like a harddrive?

I know the file has to be on the ds-x to run but could files be transfered back and forth from slot-1 to slot-2 for extra space?

umm, i think the DS-X has a built in passme function, so u could also put NDS roms on ur SDcard, and play them thru ur m3

in the search for memory expansion for the ds-x (getting my today) I found this:

after shipping... under $15 usd. Then I can just load additional roms etc to a thumbdrive/memory stick. and xfer whenever I need something.

There's also one that supports memory sticks etc, sd card etc, it's the TravelLink
