I don't know how this is possible, but I have a SD card I am using to try and install the Aroma homebrew app on (with the normal add on apps too). I followed this guide () and got to the point where Payload launcher is installed in the health and safety app and I can run things like Aroma updater and see the other homebrew apps on the home screen (although it doesn't autoboot into aroma, have to select it still at power on).. was trying to get it to autoboot, but thats when I run into the issue. When it boots into this mod I see the red banner at the top that says Failed to write to the sd card... make sure its not write protected. Well I made sure its not, as I can write to it in the Mii Maker just fine, saves images great! But nothing else seems to be able to write to the SD card. So physically its possible, but something in the software in Aroma maybe is causing an issue... Anyone have/solve this issue before? I have tried multi SD cards, micro SD cards/adapters, formatted with windows and GUI Formatter (64k sector size and 8k sector sizes), basically all the normal tricks including the tape method but I think thats for SD cards that can't be written to even in the mii maker app which again works fine for me.
Oh one more thing, in Payload Loader if I switch it back to the normal wii u menu, when it boots into the normal wii u menu, I get no red error banner saying it can't write..
