So, since link´s awakening is in the wild now, i was wondering if there a way to block the game to 30fps, because is known that the game has framerate issues but the game never goes below 30fps, so if there a way to block it would be awesome, maybe with the same method used to run some games in 60fps.

Depends on code. If it has at least one code for writing setpresentinterval in NVN outside LoadCProc, putting lock will be quite easy, but we don't know if it will not slow down game.

But I think better will be to use handheld mode with ReverseNX if you use docked mode.

Overclocking doesn't help with the slowdowns unfortunately.

The final build still suffers from slowdowns? Very disappointing.

Yes, it also seems to be a slow game in general.....Link moves at the pace of a lethargic snail.

While not worded well anyone with functioning deductive reasoning ability would understand what OP means and and wants; "How can we make Link's Awakening's FPS smoother?"

It feels like the game runs at either 30 fps or 60 fps, nothing in between and constantly drops to 30 when loading new areas, I hope there's gonna be a day 1 patch that fixes this issue but if not maybe there's a way to unlock the 30/60 limit.

    1. Wait for day one patch and official release instead of using xci leaks
    2. Use ReverseNX handheld flag for docked mode. For handheld mode use OC.

    Simple or not?

Portable for sure, I haven't tried docked yet.

Edit: Also drops a bunch in docked, might even be worse

In both, but handheld mode can be fixed with OC. For docked even OC won't help.

I have opinions from other people saying OC fixes issue.
Still I'm not testing this leak. I'm waiting for official release.
