Gaming a silly question about the cam and skype

okay
i don't own either the psp or any 3rd party camera
my question is
i use skype like a motherbitch and well i hear you can use a camera with skype

just every youtube video i have seen has been shit... some person doing a test call and such
but the camera is never in action
my question is
can you use the psp and for doing video calls?
like you would on the pc?
i have no flippin clue

i just don't want to buy both and have a cam lying around just to take a picture of my man junk
i already have a decent real camera for that

any help would be greatly appreciated

no you cant because the psp doesnt have a camera but you can use normal skype on the psp 3000 because it has a built in microphone

The PSP does have a 3rd party camera, the Go Cam.

Also, you can use Skype on a 2000, as you can buy a seperate microphone for the PSP, and you can chat normally.

i guess another question would be
if it does work with skype and such
what about if i was to mod the psp? since i'm a total noob when it comes to the psp (pig ignorance)
would it still work with it
or does it have to the one of the newer versions of the firmware
i know to get a psp 2000
but thats pretty much all i know
i would use it as a skype/media player/street fighter machine
any help again would be greatly appreciated
