These tools are made to customize gaming experience to suit gamer's preferences. Different people have different reason to use these tools. I see the following two category of use:
1. To get the most out of the game.
2. To help others get the most out of the game.

Let's start with foundation.

These tools are made to do memory hacking and to manage cheat codes made for Atmosphere's cheatVM. On the Switch it is made to run on Atmosphere. I will test them on the latest version of Atmosphere and the latest version of Switch firmware. PointerSearcher SE runs on PC.

Visit the respective github page to get the latest release. The latest features may only be documented in the release notes. To get the full functionality read all the release notes and the readme and wiki on github.

Nintendo Switch Game hacking fundamentals:
Game hacking is only possible with customer firmware. Atmosphere is one of them.

Cheat code are ready made game hack.
EdiZon SE, Breeze, Zing helps you make use of these. EdiZon SE and Zing also help to fetch cheat codes if your switch has internet connection.

Memory search can be done for DIY hacking and to create cheat code
Currently only EdiZon SE support memory searching and cheat code creation. Cheat code creation may also require use of PointerSearcher SE.
