Let say it again its "2015" And 8th Gen right? Why in the Hell there is no Voice chat? This is one reason why the system is dying because the lack of Advancements.

Even the damn Sega dreamcast had better online Jesus Christ


Things wrong with the Wii U.

1. Voice chat.. I can't even have fun chatting with random people in games. The wii U gamepad has
a mic but guess what we can't use it.

2. Lack of content in these games.. These Devs are real lazy =, we have a high powered system with games
with no content. Mario kart 8, OMG they should have killed it with this game.

Mario kart 8 sucks- We could have had Lots/good starting characters

Better vehicle customization

THE WHEELIES-!!!!!! this what made mario kart wii so fast paced its was competitive, they took this out because you cry babys complained

The items could have been better, and much more could have been added

Battle mode SUCKS GOD DAMNNNNNNNNN!!!

They could have added TEAM Mode for races and battles

No invites feature, will get to this later

Smash bros lack of content and pure lazyness


I'm not even gonne get on smash smh

3.No instant messaging or visible notification



Visible notification- Messages dont pop on screen, so how would we know someone invites us to a game
I know the home button goes blue but its not real time and im playing the classic controller so how would I know

How many times you gotten messages from friends that wanna play smash, but realized your too late?

First off the wiiu is weak on specs not powerful. Secondly games like kart and ssb4 really helped sales and are great games.

Lol, go cry at your mom who probably paid for the system.
( off playing, monsterhunter Tri Ultimate with voice chat, after ending video chat with sister on WiiU, asking to have a match of Cod Bo2 tonight with voice chat enabled)

By the way, cut scenes from SSB were removed because they take money to produce and Nintendo didnt see a point in paying for them. Anyone who believes the excuse about them being posted online is a moron.

But to be honest, you're pretty much right about everything. Nintendo still has no clue about how to make a decent (online) gaming device. Nintendo Network is a slight advancement but it's still bad. The friends system sucks! Only 100 people and for ALL games. In-game you can add people but not delete them. If they're not only for more than 1 month it'll not say the exact time but "more than 1 month". Very helpful in sorting out people who no longer play Wii U. -_-

Also they won't add voice chat due to people abusing it ("child safety").

There isn't voice chat/other communication because it's a liability, not just because of any time/money invested in creating those infrastructures. No voice chat, no parents complaining about their kid being called a G* N* F* while granny is knitting on the couch. No Instant Messaging, no headlines reading "Boy Kidnapped, Miiverse Posts Reveal All"

Well TC, it must not be the system for you, but if you're continuing to complain about it while not getting rid of it, then I'd imagine the system is not the problem. If you don't like something, get rid of it or stay away from it.

Nintendo is far from perfect and should embrace the capabilities of the Internet. In the end, though, I don't really see them as dying. Wii U is the only console that has games that interest me that aren't on PC, and the 3DS is a solid handheld. Though, I generally stick to physical copies and don't play games online (only multiplayer games I play are local for when I have guests), so a lot of their online problems don't really affect me.
