I boot slot 2 without a game on it and it says "boot ds mode" whats that? it means to boot the normal ds screen with the calendar, download play, pictochat and stuff? anyways it just goes with a white screen when I touch ok... can someone explain?
It booted the slot two in NDS mode. Since there was nothing inserted it goes white. If you want to get to th DS default menu boot yer DS without the R4.

Usually boot slot2 mean boot to GBA mode(NDS extension cut off;mic 2nd screen X Y)
but If use want to boot to slot2flashcart you have to boot in NDS mode, so you can use DS extension.
