Smea just made it where Download Play launches a cart, because the Home Menu checks for your region. Older blocked carts can be unblocked. Look in the flashcart section on the forum for it.

Yeah, but I want to use the card to INSTALL the mset exploit. My card is blocked: when I try to use it, it appears as spongebob logo and some jpn gibberish in the name. Only my dslite can launch it. I tried to use upgrade packs from other r4s and crap but it didn't work.
Life is cruel.

unless you're on a firmware version prior to the one that patched it, it's not going to work. My ds flashcarts were blocked(I had cheap ones anyways), so I found a copy of bangai-o-spirits and used bangai-o-sploit to install the mset exploit.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
