Gaming A new RPG but i cant choose.

Ok well it is my birthday soon and my Flashcart crashed...so i will be getting a new game so since i am actually paying for this game (well my parents) i want a game that i will actually play (i never completed my games on my flashcart other than pokemon) And i really wanted an RPG so i took adivce from my school friends (not the best of gamers) and these were my candidates for a DS RPG game

Final Fantasy VS Kingdom Hearts (no pokemon because i played all exept HG SS)

So since there are many Final Fantasies i will narrow it down for you

Final Fantasy Crystal Crhonicles: Echoes of Time
Final Fantasy Tactics A2
Final Fantasy 3
Kingdom Hearts

Why not Final Fantasy IV? i played it already.......

So now which do i get and why? Or should i wait for another DS RPG to come out before Dec22 which i do not know about........Or any suggestions on some that are already out?

Well i leave you with this question while i go to bed now please explain your answer and dont say "IGN gave it a better Review"

Definitely get KH if you've played the PS2 KH games. Otherwise you'll be lost and get bored of the story quickly. The gameplay's good though. If you haven't played the PS2 KH games, go for FFCC Echoes of Time.

But in all honesty, if you have Wifi, go for Phantasy Star Zero over KH and FF.

Im going to have to agree with the above post, if you havent played KH before, this will be a bad start to pick it up, talk about spoiler alert lol.

If your into tactics games , definatly Tactics Advance 2
other wise FFCC EoT

But Phantasy Star Zero i HIGHLY recommend

I agree with tactics advance 2, played it for 70 hours for 100%.
Phantasy Star...I got bored pretty quickly. It depends on who your party is, some people will go crazy on you if your new.
EoT is also fun but it's short.
Mario and Luigi BiS is a good game but short also.
Hmm...Luminous Arc is a great anime-ish rpg and a third one is coming out

yeah I'd say go for a Final Fantasy but I don't know which I kinda like Tactics Advance 2,for me Crystal Chronicles wasn't brilliant and Final Fanasy 3 is pretty good
but yeah Phantasy Star 0 is a great game single or mutliplayer but I'd also recommend Fighting Fantasy

I'm finding that a good game and also hard ¬¬

They have different type of battle :
EoT and KH -> action
FFTA2 -> strategy
FF3 -> turn-base

Which battle type is your favourite?
I choose FFTA2 because i like strategy better than turn-base & action.

Tactics A2. You can make your own team, choose their classes and teach them skills, lots of missions, game can get a bit challenging on some missions. Great game.

I know you said only Final Fantasy games but I would suggest Nostalgia. It is a godd throwback to the earlier Final Fantasy games that are on your list.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - Lasts fairly long depending on what you do/want to do.
Kingdom Hearts - If you want some nice action. And possibly some nice DS eye candy.

FF3/EoT - nothing you can't try later on

Strategy RPG VS Action RPG
Unless you're looking for something new, go for KH

I'd recommend Kingodm Hearts. If you really are gonna play with your friends, you should buy EoT.

(But hey, M&L3 is a RPG too

If you're looking for decent DS RPGs I'd recommend one of the following:

- The world ends with you (original concept, action RPG gameplay, really awesome)
- Chrono Trigger DS (eternal classic, long, addicting and really nostalgic, not to mention it stood the test of time)
- Mario and Luigi RPG 3: Bowser's inside story (bit childish but awesome nontheless)

If you don't mind some challenge, I'd also say:

- Final Fantasy III (NOT IV! IV is a piece of crap especially on the DS)
- Etrian Odyssey (very old-school, insane amount of content)

Also, not quite an RPG, but close to it, and really mind-blowing:

- Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass/Spirit tracks

Go with FFTA2 will keep you busy for a long time if you like SRPG's, or KH:358/2 Days if you like fast paced action RPG's.

Ok well i just got back from school so apparently KH is gonna be difficult for me because i never played KH before and i dont expect to unless on a nintendo console. Also another game to consider is the Phantasy Star Zero or whatever it is called i havent looked it up but i will after this post.

Final Fantasy Crystal Crhonicles: Echoes of Time - This game sucks ass.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - This game is very different from a traditional RPG, but it's not bad. A bit slow though.
Final Fantasy 3 - This game will feel like shit since you already played FF4.
Kingdom Hearts - Go with this game, it's freaking awesome. :yayds:


Edit: I just realized you said you're actually buying the game. Well to be honest, FFTA2 will probably net you more hours of playtime than the other three games combined. However, it may be hard to find a copy anywhere, especially if you want a new one.
Just get a new flash cart.

I'd say give Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor a shot. It's one of my favourite RPGs of all time. It has elements of tactics rpgs, it's got some pokemon type elements Ie: levelling your demons and combining them to make better demons, plus multiple endings and a great storyline to boot.

You can play KH without playing the others(I haven't), you'll just be out of the loop on some things.
BTW why not just get a new Flashcart?
