A judge in Ohio has found a 17-year-old boy guilty of shooting his parents in 2007 after they argued about whether he should be allowed to play Halo 3. The Entertainment Software Association's blog GamePolitics.com has a transcript of the judge's statements about the case, and they are highly critical of videogames.

I approve of this.

Seriously, this isn't the first kid who's had his mind warped by Halo. Do you know how many people have had their minds warped so bad that they actually think it's a good game?

well yeah.

im not talking about the kid. im talking about the judge. he seems to follow the old jack thompson (sp?) school of thought

My mom read this to me last night when she was reading the paper.

I told her all the stories that have been going on with the Halo 3, and people killing people over em', and how they blame GTA for killing things, etc.

They said he gets life in prison.

o_o;

ALL OVER HALO 3, WAS IT FUCKING WORTH IT.
