If you read the topic tittle and/or description, I think you should know what it's about.
Anyways, I know it's a couple of weeks untill Valentine's, but I don't know what to get her...
I was thinking about getting her a teddy bear or something like that...
    Anyways, any suggestions??

His profile says he's 18, he can't legally buy that in most states in the USA.

How about a nice locket women dig shit like that. You could put a picture in it of a lost family member she loved dearly and would be her hero for life.

Technically, I can buy alcohol were I live (I live outside of the USA, and 18's the legal age to buy alcohol here [IMG]).
I really like that locket idea, maybe I'll get her that ^^ but she doesn't a have a dearly loved family member that has passed away, so the hero thing wouldn't be included [IMG]

Well really it could be anything that she holds dearly to her heart. Personaly I'd give my wife one with a picture of her gradfather and mother and our son. I would let myself out not because I don't think she holds me dearly but because its a gift for her from me so it would already carry that weight with out a picture of me.

Yeah, I tough that too, when I give someone something like that I never use a picture of me, that's having too much of an ego...
But yeah, I'm getting her that [IMG]
But now that I think about it... we'll have a yer together on April, so maybe I should wait until then to get her the locket...
    What do you think??

Hmm... I'd get her the locket for valentines and if you can afford a romantic getaway weekend or something of this nature I'd do that for the 1 year anniversary.

First off - Why dont you just try to ignore "Valentine's Day"? Isnt it the deal to give love and little gifts everyday when you are in a partnership? If that's the case you dont need a over-commercialised event as a reason for gifting your girlfriend. Further, if you're searching for some idea under pressure you might propably buy some kinda of bullshit she might not need. Take your time for finding the perfect little delight - if it takes you time till the valinetines day is over - whats the deal?

If I was a girl and youd gift me some dead and broken flowers, really I'd just smash them right the next trash-bin. Flowers are just useless if theyre cut off.
For me it just feels kinda perverted to gift some1 with something dead and cold.

Really If you still feel the need to follow these stupid society-rules in celebrating a totally useless celebration do so.
Id just advice you to give her love as everyday, maybe a little more. I dont think there are that many greater gifts than that [IMG]

The best valentine's day gift isn't bought.

Rent a good movie, make her dinner (Don't say you don't know how to cook. You can follow a simple recipe, right?) Have some strawberries ready for dessert, and she'll be eating out of your hand for the rest of the night.

    Movie Rental: ~$5-10.
    Ingredients: ~$5-10+.
Gas/Power for cooking / watching: (depends highly on area but you get my point)

The only thing you can do for her that isn't bought is to ... make a figure out of sticks?

Yeah, I gues you're right there... But she... likes celebrating holydays, lika a lot. So she may feel bad if I don't give her something.
But I agree with you there on the society-rules celebration thinguie, tough X-mas pises me off more than Valentine.

Okay, let me rephrase that. The best gift isn't a cheap meaningless trinket.

Sorry we all can't be load with dough like you.

Trinket? Please... That is a meaningful thought out gift, especially if the right pictures are inside.

Write her a poem, bwahahahahaha. Well, that's what I tried, and then failed horribly at...
