Yeah...there's no way they can improve protection from bans. It's just impossible without the Switch constantly sending data to Nintendo
i'm sure future update will allow for eshop dumps and DLC, but that doesn't mean that will be on the next update....
Yeah I've seen at least 3 games with dumped DLC and updates so far, all we need is the ability to install them. So it makes no sense to update backups within horizon now
In 100 of the case. I guess he meant in 100 cases instead of in 100% of the cases, since there were people saying they were banned without layeredfs. Just using homebrew or just sx os.
Yeah, I highly doubt that's accurate at all. LayeredFS was released very shortly before people first got their hands on SX OS, I'm sure a lot of people who had already preordered SX OS just waited it out. And I've seen plenty of people on here reporting problems playing online with SX OS. The original version even ignored your certificate if you used your own game dump, the very fact that people were able to go online at all is enough to tell you that Team Xecuter did not make any attempts to prevent bans.
They are literally talking out of both sides of their mouths, in the same e-mail they're saying that ALL the bans are due to LayeredFS, and that playing online with game backups is a serious ban risk. At this point, they're blatantly lying.
Because of this, stealing code and not giving credit, and including brick code, they'll never see a dime of my money. I was considering buying an SX Pro unit just for the simplicity and convenience factor of using the dongle, but at this point I'd advise everybody to stear clear of them. Better things are coming for those who wait. We have improvements being made to Atmosphere and LayeredFS, and a new dongle coming from Team Matrix.
I don't think bans are happening exclusively to the people who used LFS.
My guess is there is something more than the logs are showing (creport/etc) which Nintendo can use to be sure they're banning a user who modded the console.
Meanwhile, I did not make a nand dump before SX OS so I'll just continue offline until things are clear...

I'm still on 4.1 and the main issue for me is not being able to udate games.
Lmao they blame it on layered while there have been countless people banned using sxos and that did NOT use layeredfs. Wonder how they explait that then ? What a bunch of assholes even now they still lie that their product isn't causing bans.
Regardless if they used Layered or XCI those banned users went online with them, clearing logs is from hekate , but it's also getting folks banned more than the sx os ironically b/c its open source

Yes, because everybody with a ban that's used SX OS is in on a conspiracy to bring down our lords and saviours from Team Xecuter.
Or y'know, maybe you're being ridiculous and people are just getting banned either way because Nintendo can obviously tell if they've ran unsigned code or pirated games.
There's no need to defend a company so rabidly, they don't care about you, or if you get banned, you're just a customer to them.
If you see his posts, he is scummy as hell, lying, not providing proof, and avoiding questions, the thing that bothers me is that he was like I dont feel like it to show pics, I put them in a discord, then he said the reswitched discord, and no one ever provided proof, he even created a thread that you MUST uninstall before its too late, he was a David alt or something like it, also I forgot to mention, new account, but people were like ohhh you are the God of Truth, we believe you even though you have provided nothing, not even if you have a switch for real
And the banwave right now its target primarily is the errors that layeredfs creates, SX OS users that used layeredfs being banned, LayeredFS only using them banned, but probably in the next wave is SX OS turn, but as of now its not happening, if it happens we will know
