Hacking a .firm question... (i think this would be the right place?)

hello everyone

i had recently had a brainstorm happen and wondered if its possible
there is this operating system (16MB in size) that, looking at the specs, it would be possible to use it as a second bootable os (like 3dslinux )
as i do not know if this would be possible, i would like to know why as it would help me understand

i think its just known that you cant emulate an operating system on old 3ds to to hardware limitations.
and you cant boot an operating system.

the n3ds not only has a faster processor, but has new hardware as well,
that allows for emulating OS like mac or windows. mac runs great by the way.

Maybe a severly stripped "version"
can be made, like a game of sorts.

mac images are only 18mb or so, but it will still only run on new 3ds hardware

alright, but i'm talking running (how would you say it... flash? ram? as native hardware? idk) but the test i was trying to do was to see was giving bricked systems, and actual os to run (probably as a, idk, like the wii linux thing. that was what i was trying to see)
but anyway, i dont know what to do now

i had another account, but i got locked out of it and such. i have been aware of this scene since (idk sometime after ninjhax? idk...) but i could try, it may or may not work, but the effort is in trying

lets say i have FBI installed, but theres a newer version, i would search github fbi in google and i would go to that github release page.
theres also apps for the 3ds that arent in cia or any usable format, just a bunch of files and folders that need to be compiled into a working cia or 3dsx or what-have-ya.

so maybe something is there, somewhere. ill help you search and see what i come up with.

well the only way to do that is to report your first post and ask for it to be deleted, but in doing that, you get a strike on ur profile.
for a bunch of devs and coders, i dont see why deserved moderation, and requests to delete our own threads (in the gbatemp staff area, it says to delete posts u made, use report button)
are in the same category and can cause repercussions eventually.
ill probably get reported for this post as well.
