Hi All,

Ok i have a few questions that i need some answers to if possible.
Im getting a psp in a few days need to know what to do with the following please:

1/. e boot files do they go in any special folder?......Do they require anything else to make them run?.....Also is there a application to change games from ps1 to eboot?

2/. Cso files please tell me the folder structure?

3/. iso do they need to be in any specail folder?

I will have my psp very soon and would really appreciate answers for the above questions.
Im going to get my local store to change the firmware as i dont want to brick it.
Im hoping they put support for homebrew as well.

Cheers

Assuming you have custom firmware, both CSO and ISO files go into an ISO folder on you memory card. (It's either on the root or in the PSP folder of the memroy card)

And there is a program to convert PS1 to eboot, but I forgot the name. It might be something like popstationGUI.

As for Eboots, I really don't know too much... I haven't gotten around to playing PS1 games on my PSP. Sorry.

If you don't wanna run a custom firmware to play psx games on your PSP. Sony has an online store that allows you to download psx games to your psp for a small fee.

1) Assuming you are using CFW , create a folder name 'SCUS10001' and place it in ur 'GAMES' folder (not sure is in 150/380 folder , just try these few).

2) Place the EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.bin file into the 'SCUS10001' folder.

3) You will see a game called 'Hot Shot Golf' appeared in ur memory stick in ur PSP. That will be ur PSX game.

This works for me in 3.80 M33 and 3.90 M33 , I am using slim.

Hope this helps

Whatever converter you use should actually create a game folder for you, if you only use SCUS1001, you can only have one game at a time, and it will only have one memory card (15 blocks). Your file structure should go like this:

Code:
Memory Stick
ISO
PSP
ÂGAME
 ÂSCUS(game ID number)
 ÂPicoDrive
 ÂOtherHomebrewOrPlaystionGames
ÂSYSTEM
ÂPHOTO
ÂTHEME
MUSIC
PICTURE
VIDEO

Inside each of those three folders under GAME you should have an EBOOT.PBP and, if it's a Playstation game, a KEYS.BIN file. All of your PSP games will go into the ISO folder, regardless of whether they are in ISO or CSO format, you can rename them to whatever you want.
