Hacking A few questions about modding (NDS Tittle and vWii HBC)

So, I've been thinking about modding my console, but I was wondering if I could recover the DS game after installing Haxchi, because I want to keep playing Star Fox Command hehe... So, can I use that game AND install it later in CFW? or should I buy another game?
Also... my vWii has been softmodded for a long time now. I had to use a Forwarder Homebrew Channel, is there by chance another methot of fixing the 4:3 display problem? Thank you!

Once you install haxchi over it, it's now a slave to haxchi. What you can do is install the opposite region of said game. Or you can buy another DS game like Brain Age.

CFW is not a special realm different from your regular Wiiu. It just enables some patches to the system such as disabling signature checks, enables region free, etc. The system still functions exactly the same in the end, so you should be able to normally use Eshop and whatnot. CFW only adds benefits, it doesn't create limitations.
