I've decided to get a flash card, and after doing some research & reading reviews I've settled on the CycloDS Evolution. In terms of features, ease of use and polish it seems like the overall winner, and I don't mind paying a little extra for the quality.
The only thing that's confusing me now is the MicroSD card, and which one to get. I've read reports that certain brands, like Sandisk, as well as generic cards can often cause problems with the flash card - lagging gameplay, corruption etc. So I just wanted to make sure I get the right one (Kingston seem to be reliable).
Now I just have a few questions before I make my purchase:
1. The CycloDS, is it available in white only? Also, it's around £30-40 on Amazon marketplace at the moment, is that a decent UK price, or too high?
2. Does using the CycloDS (or any flash card) have any major effect on the battery life?
2. I'm thinking of getting a Kingston 2GB MicroSD card with it. It's only around £3 on Amazon. Anyone have any issues with that particular card?
3. Finally, is there a difference in speed/performance between normal SD and SDHC cards? Would a 2GB card be sufficient for backups, homebrew etc. or am I better off getting a 4GB SDHC card?
Many thanks in advance for any help and advice.
