Hardware a couple of problems!!

ok update time, i have been having problems with this drive for a while and also with the 3 rrod so yesterday i got so pissed off with it that i give it a great big kick across the room,
man i felt better after that, as for the xbox........ total trash now, parts flew all over, but hey it got my frustration out.

LOL, well the way i see it, it had the rrod and there is not really much hope when that happens apart from getting a total reball, but even when thats done it could still happen again.
well i will try and get another one, and if i get burnt again, i can still practice my soccer skills ;)

Actually a reball should last far longer then the original.
reball solderballs are made of a lead/tin alloy, not pure tin like what Foxconn does.

Try getting one with a 175 or 150w PSU.
Those are Falcon/Jasper models and their pretty RRoD resistant.
