That's AMAZING! I was so excited about this and LOVED the art direction, but I was worried the animation would suck (just because it all seemed way too good to be true), but it's NOT! It's GORGEOUS! Excuse me while I go change my pants!

This game looks so fun, I liked the NES one back in the day, one of he first I played on NES.

I just got very excited because I realized my parents have a Wii I can play this on! (I sold mine a few months ago)

Man, I remembered what a pain in the ass the first one was. I couldn't remember which jellybean was which. I still enjoyed playing it, just hated throwing the wrong jellybean.

EDIT: By the way cosmiccow, they did plan to release one for the DS, but it was cancelled a long time ago.

I don't think I like how the levels are in this one.
They are more kindaunrestricted level design where ground kinda floats and hangs without restriction or sense of gravity or any naturalness.
Sure the original had them too, but they were more abundant in cave levels and the like.
Also the levels seem to be all one puzzle at a time style.
Very simple piece and block style that alot of "puzzlers" always tend to do.
So instead of adventuring and exploring its gonna be more about getting from one point to another using your blob.
Not what I wanted to see with this remake as theres already enough games like that and they bore me to death. I tend to see the solution first and end up just pacing through it. Usually due to a rather easy puzzle in the first place.
So instead of an interesting adventure title we get a decent plaatformer with nice audio and visuals at least.
Not so much for us gaming vets.

Oh well, on to the next remake...

Looks good thus far, I remember renting the original for the NES in the early 90s.

The problem with the original was that its pretty uninteresting and dull at the beginning. I hope they can liven it up to keep some people playing.
