Luma has his own Splashscreen option before redirecting to a payload; https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Other-features-and-notes just be sure that you are using an updated version, also you can get some pre-made splashscreens @ Satchi's Magikarp thread here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/magikarp-custom-splash-screens-thread.410948/

you can also use BootAnim9 Just like OrGoN3 mentioned, just remember to follow this https://github.com/AuroraWright/Lum...ng-luma3ds-work-with-an-external-boot-manager as BootAnim9 or BootCtr9 will change the path for luma because of the chain loading, making some games unplayable due to RAM restrictions (GBA, DSi Games, and Monster Hunter or Smash Bros.)

When you use BootCtr9, there you can press (a button) 1-2 Seconds AFTER Boot... With Luma3DS, there you must press BEFOR Boot...
BootCtr9 support sadly just the top screen...

Splashes for both screens ;)
Bottom Screen splashed should be easy implementable, but I the bottom screen always for the log, and I would like to make it possible to keep the log and make it possible to integrate it in the splash.
But I don't know when I will do it, but maybe I will do it, after I upgradet the a9lh fork to a9lh2, together with different log levels to allow the displaying of some informations like waiting for a key or asking for the boot passoword, without all the other logging stuff.

Also in theory you could also use a much longer duration for the button press check. :P

Do you mean in BootCtr9 or in Luma3DS? Or what do you mean?
