theresia is far darker than 999 and have a bit more of psychological torture sometimes

well, if someone understands portuguese, i have wrote a review that was published in the evilgambit.net site

http://www.evilgambit.com/blog/2010/11/24/...por-duke-magus/

(it is not a ROM site, so it is within the rules... i think)

back to topic; the way, i would like to know if the "facts" and "theories" that appear in the game rave some real basis

not the frozen lady, but the gigantic, the books foreseeing the titanic's tragedy, the insane lord that bought everything realted to the titanic or the "connection that we can not see" (theories about this one really exists, it is called "Collective unconscious" i think)

Too bad, Ever17 doesn't seem to be for DS but Theresia is. Gonna try that.

Well, it's for the PC but it's a "small" game. I can easily play it on my old laptop. There's also Remember11 (from the same series, similar crazy theories), which unfortunately was never released in english but there's an english patch available (and the translation is very good). There was a group who was trying to port Ever 17 for the DS but I don't think they were sucessful.

Another great psychological game from Japan that has an english patch is Chaos;Head. Out of these games, it's the one that freaked me out the most and it's the most gruesome. It's also for the PC though :/

Theresia looks amazing. Thank you for the review.

Gah, i am stuck in a puzzle. Dunno the location name, but it comes after door 7. Its the room where you use the cards with the players pictures on them and use them to open 9 suitcases, and then use the pins within to solve the control panel puzzle at the top. I managed to clear the first part (Lighting up the numbers), but i can't figure out the second part for the life of me. The second part is with the F on top, and you have to make sure every line adds up to 15. help?

Put 5 in middle and 9 on top. Just go from there.

Not really, and not it wasn't supposed to be after door 9. The assasin of that ending is unknown, although I do believe it was fake ZERO. You'll understand it when you get the true ending and realize the 'small' traslation flaw. Oh and beyond door 9, there's a harder puzzle than that one, similar, I never got to solve it, I used 'brute force'

MAJOR SPOILERS IN THIS SO IF YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN THE TRUE ENDING, SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND DON'T READ IT: IT S FOR PEOPLE WHO GOT THE TRUE ENDING

See, I don't think there was a translation flaw. It made perfect sense to me. Zero said the exit is hidden. He said look for the door with a 9 or whatever. And when you get to the incinerator room, after you get out, you realize that the 9 on that door, didn't look like the other 9's. It had a straight tail, not a curved one.

He said 9 will lead to the exit, not that the 9 IS the exit. Which makes sense, because all the other doors in ship led to rooms, but just looped back around, while the 9 door didn't take you back, it just took you forward. He said 9 will lead to the exit, 9 led to the q door, which led to the exit. So Zero was telling the truth.

Yes you will, all but except the submarine ending. The game doesn't say it, it was all implicit.

Shadow soldier;
Notice how at first it says "seek a door that carries a 9" and at the end it's changed to "seek a door that carries a q" It only makes sense in japanese because 9=kyuu=q they all have the same pronunciation

The bad endings actually play a part in the true ending. They talk about something in the true ending I believe, that explains it, and it makes sense for all the endings. At least I thought it did.

I'm not sure if it's explained in the safe ending..

he remembers stuff from the bad endings in the true ending, so there is actually a point to dieing all those times. but there is still one question. why does the coffin ending say to be continued and ending 3 and 6 say the end.....or is it?

oh and pokefreak you'll explode when you figure out who kills you

Because that's the path for the true ending, if you acquired ending 4 then you'd reach it, if you didn't then it'll stop on "to be continued..."

If you're aiming for ending 1 then you're in the right path. You'll need ending 4 to get ending 1.
ending 2 requires me to not get ending 1 and follow the same path right? so i have to get ending 2 before 1 right?
