Gaming 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors

I'd still read all the text, just at a faster pace then it currently allows me. Skipping the text would make any game like this a waste of time.

Aw that's kinda sad, one of the things i like the most in phoenix wright is the sound the text makes when it appears, it reached a point where i get relaxed and happy when i hear that xD.
I admit though, at some parts the text in 999 has been too slow... but maybe it was just me being in a hurry to know wtf happened... If nobody posted it i can give you mine once i get home, maybe in 2 hours.
But i still think it would be way better if you play it at the normal speed. It gives suspense o.0

I'd appreciate it ShadowSoldier, but I use an M3izero. I'd assume a .sav would work in both of them, so if you're willing to upload it, I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, I figure I'd lose a small amount of suspense, though not that much. Phoenix Wright still managed to be suspenseful even with faster text.

Hey ShadowSoldier, i have a question, without spoiling anything, to get the best ending, do i need to get all the square endings (like, when i got knife, one of the squares got a knife), or is the best ending one of those squares?, and i need X square to be able to archieve the best ending

Also, is there 1 best ending, and all the others are bad endings?

That Junpei ends with June in a happy way...

3 are bad endings. 2 are endings that are like "To Be Continued..." or "The End... or is it?" 2 are endings that aren't the true ending, but they tie in with the main ending. And 1 is the true ending which answers everything.

So in other words. 3 bad, 2 good. 1 true.

You need only ending X to get the true ending and it is one of the squares just as all of the other endings are. You can pretty much go with that there is 1 best ending and all the others are bad...if you want...

Actually, if you select continue after finishing, it will do the same thing as selecting begin with memories.

I agree, this is the best game I've ever played. I've heard it's similar to Hotel Dusk, perhaps you may try that one. Or wait 9 years for the sequel LOL.

Nah, they're too different games.

That's why I asked a few pages back if Theresia is a good game, because I THINK that's similar to 999.

Havent heard about Theresia, but i do know Ever 17 is from the same style 999 is (and is from the same writer that wrote 999's story), with people trying to escape from somewhere and etc, the only bad part is that the artwork is not as good as 999´s.

So... i just got my 2nd ending... submarine, or should i say, "submarine"?

Man, this game just gets more and more sick, and at the same time it gets better, i learned a lot more in this walktrhough...
Like, Seven´s past, also Lotus´s past, dunno if there is still more she can tell though, but now i respect Lotus more than before. Also, more pwetty info about the relationship between Junpei and June :3.

This makes me question so many things, like why the hell did clover knew about this experiment...

ALSO, WTF EVERYONE DIED!? THEN THE KILLER IS FROM A THIRD PARTY PERSON.... i didnt liked that, it was cooler to think it was one of us... Or is it?! And no matter what i do, it seems snake´s destiny wont ever change

My first path was door 4->7->6 and got knife
This one was 5->3(omg junpei is such a mofo for leaving Clover and Lotus behind xD)->and 2 (no other choice)


Now im planning to go, 5->8->? Dunno what will happen after 8, it would be the first time going into that room, but most probably the same stuff that happened when i got into 7 will happen, so i might choose between 1,2 or 6... I wont go 2 again, most probably will get the same freaking sick ending, so it will be either 1 or 6, maybe 1 since i went to the 6th the first time.

But im too curious about that unfamous Axe ending... god

After this, i dont know what i would do, i mean, i would choose between 5 and 4 again, i think i would go 4th once again, and try the other door than 7th; Choosing between 5 and 4... i imagine it changes the outcome of the 3 next door, so i guess i should try every door after 5 and 4th each one of each option and then choose again between the 3 last...

Nah, i better go 5th again, there seems to be more stuff to hear about going through 4th, so ill cover all the things i can get from going through 5th first...

God, thats a lot of work, and replaying puzzles...
but i seriously need to see the good ending T.T i dont wanna see June dying again

Edit: Just saw a vid of theresa, it looks way creppier than 999, but it seems like you will be more of the time alone and thinking by yourself solving stuff...i dont know if i got the [email protected] to play it, i can barely play silent hill without starting to think the worst....
I doing ok with 999 though, but it was a seriously bad idea to play it before sleeping yesterday, when i was in the torturing/examination/whatever room i felt so freaking "O-O" playing it, in my bed, with the lights off... god

What are you talking about, Ever17's artwork is a lot better than 999's, in my opinion at least. But both games are very similar, Ever17's plot is more complex but there are no puzzles. Both games were clearly written by the same person, no doubts about that, since the stories are really quite similar.

Anyway, is there a good walkthrough available? I need help to get to the True Ending.
