Gambia, The
I wouldn't buy DSiWare
I think it's not worth the Money..
Better are normal DS games

About these 2 days:
Can't it be that these 8 DSiWare Titles
come out about the 28/29 June?
Or it's just false typing. (June/January)

They just look like homebrew games to be honest. I do like the Art Style WiiWare & GBA titles and they are worth the money, but these ones I'm not sure about.

They could just be testing the water with these. Then, if the DSiWare does well, maybe they'll start releasing better apps/games.

You know what else can be a 'silent release'? FARTS. Buh-duh-bum...cheesh!

Also, goshdarnit- just make a DS Virtual Console already- 'those customers' are the ones who are going to be willing to pay for, you know, WarioWare/Puzzle League-extra-lite anyhow.

Note to Nintendo

Get some third party support because you are cranking out content that is mediocre at best save for Hobonichi Rozenzu which could benefit me when I take another vacation there this Summer.

@nitr8, When there's a will, there's always a way, I suppose. Arent there any other SDL libraries that are up-to-date to support the Wii, or other compatibles?
  • nitr8 @ nitr8:
There exists a SDL2 port to the Wii. But as far as I can tell it's worse than the SDL v1.2 port. I couldn't even manage to get the 32x240 screen of the game stretched to the 640x480 viewable region of the port. It would only work when using game resolution 640x480 as well but due to the game video being run as software emulation, it just runs slow with anything higher than 320x240

I mean - I'm fine with the original DOS feeling of 320x240 pixels. There's nothing wrong about it. It just feels more "original". DOS resolutions like 640x480 were based on VESA anyway like BLOOD actually used VESA for screen resolutions > 640x480
