Yeah, I have a 5 second delay on my wii startup, is this natural since I have preloader? Shouldn't it be shorter? I'm on 4.0 and have prelaoder 0.29 and of course the disc spin bug in hibernate mode, any ways to fix it?

Yes preloader will add a few seconds to startup time

just dont have wii connect 24 on to fix the spinning disc, or maybe the ignore standby setting option to on?

also, my wii has a bit of a delay when loading channels. when you turn it on, press A really quickly then choose a channel straight away and press start, it'll stick at that screen for up to about 5 seconds like you say.

dunno what i could be lol

Ok, so I can just reinstall systemmenu 4.0.wad when bootmii comes out then? Not alot of chance of bricking since it's offline, or a power surge. So it's just the preloader? Also I need standby on because that's where I charge my ipod [IMG].
