I have a PS4 Pro on 5.05 with some games installed in the internal drive, and I just purchased an external 4TB HDD so I can install more. I want to use the extended storage option, not App2Usb.
They way I see it I have two options:
1.- Keep using 5.05 with backported games and extended storage and update to 6.72 in the future, but my question here is what will happen to all the games already stored in the external hard drive? Are they gonna be lost? Will I have to install all of them again?
2.- Upgrade to 6.72 and then start installing the games. Not sure about this one because I want to stay in lower firmware and avoid kernel panics and such.
What is the best option here?
