Gaming 4.01 m33 to 5.00m33 - any disadvantages?

Want to update to 5.00 for Lunar. But I still use emu's and pops (I know people will say go top gen firmware, but 1.50 stuff doesn't work does it? Not sure about pops).

I'm sure I read somewhere though, that some people preferred staying on 4.01 rather than going to 5.00, but I can't remember why. I want to keep my 1.50 kernel stuff and also pops, so I think 5.00 is the best bet? Unless 4.01 has some advantages I'm not sure of?

I did convert Lunar but it crashes on 4.01. Cheers.

i'm still on 4.01 and all fixed games work perfectly so far, so i don't bother upgrading it

No disadvantages and only advantages - access to all available pops via the latest popsloader and the MS speed up option to name but two.

4.01 doesn't have any advantages for you...

edit: I remember now why some people were hanging on to 4.01m33. It was when some newer games were coming through and for some reason they were playing ok in 4.01, but weren't playing in 5.00. I think GT psp was an example of this. I guess with the m33 patches it isn't an issue anymore.
