I went to my friend's house to help him update his homebrew-enabled Wii. I installed cIOS rev9 and then proceded to install Waninoko's 4.0 Updater. It said it was finished succesfully and to click any button to restart. The health screen appeared but when "A" is clicked we get: "The system files are corrupted. Please refer to the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting." Weird as I just did it in my Wii succesfully. As I thought, the Starfall patch was no longer working and so, that was not an option to recover. I'm pretty sure the IOS's are trucha bugged as it was Waninoko's Updater. So, does my friend has a chance, or is he f****d up? My guess for what I've read is he'll need to get a chip and open up his GC controller. Any way to avoid that?
EDIT: Also, he doesn't have the Twilight Hack installed
as if it couldn't get any worse.
