Currently, I´m on 4.0.1, and i would like to have the ExFat update, there are 2 ways, there is choidujour and the tutorial on how to get the exfat diver on any firmware.

The thing is, ChoiDuJour has an option to AutoRCM, which i don't really want/need at this point, since im not planing to go higher than 4.1.0, i know that you can use that so u can downgrade later, as no e-fuses are blown, however, i would like just the update for the exfat driver.

    1. Can i use ChoiDuJourNX to install that update? as i have seen peple with 4.1.0 and still no exfat driver.
    2. If i can use ChoiDuJourNX, do i obligatory have to use AutoRCM?

    Why not just use ChoiDuJourNX.

Autorcm only if upgrading to higher fw without fuses.

    I
have seen 4.1.0 switch without the ExFat driver, does the ChoiDuJourNX 4.1.0 update includes the ExFat drive?

No switch as far as I know comes with exfat installed due to licensing costs, you have to choose to install it. Yes ChoiDuJourNX has an option to install exfat afaik.

I'm on 4.1.0 and what I did was I extracted the exfat driver from one of the xci gamedumps and placed it in the module folder and it works just fine.

For 4.0.1 you can do the same thing.

ChoiDuJourNX installs any system update you want. There are system updates/firmware versions with and without exfat. I updated from 4.1 without exfat to 4.1 with exfat with ChoiDuJourNX.
You can get firmware updates from xbins as posted the guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/choiduj...ller-homebrew-for-the-nintendo-switch.513416/

I've already upgraded with the original choidujoir so I'm hoping your reply was more for the OP than me.

Yep, just wanted to clarify "Yes ChoiDuJourNX has an option to install exfat afaik." that OP knows that the firmware files are not provided by ChoiDuJourNX. :yayswitch:

So what if Briccmii was used for AutoRCM and you want to use ChoiDuJourNX do you opt out of AutoRCM or do you leave it on?

ChoiDujourNX will overwrite any AutoRCM setting you have no matter what set it, so however you want it to end up should be set in Choi.

Theres a guide here that allows exfat drivers to be "injected" into the system during that boot cycle. My set up so far on my sisters Switch is boot hecate. from there add in the CFW section ReiNX with the exfat patch and boot ReiNX (or CFW of your choice). The switch is on 4.1.0 and i choose to boot with an android phone using NXLoader.

Edit Followed this guide in the CFW section.

Can I use the ChoiDujourNX to install exfat to my switch v1.0.0, I have the 1-2 switch game, which runs to my switch without problem. When I have the game cartridge in my switch and insert a card formated exfat it will update from the cartidge just the exfat?

iirc 1.0.0 exFAT doesn't work at all, and no you can't just install the exFAT update from a cartridge in the OS

So I used ChoiDujour on my 3.0.2 Switch, to install 5.0.2 exFAQT and no matter what I do, the switch won't read my 128GB microSD , only my 32. Can you toss the FS.kip1 file on mega or something so I can snag it and use it in my /modules folder?? I've rebuilt my microSD so many times and everytime I boot, it just tells me that the microSD is unusable. I'm goign to try reformatting one more time just in case, though.
