Hardware 3rd Party Battery

So I've seen the Nyko rechargeable battery pack and cradle and read that it only adds a few more hours.

I was browsing the internet on my free time and stumbled upon this.

it doesn't say here, but on the main page to that site, it says you can get up to 20 hours of game time

here's a screen shot of the main page stating it gets 20 hours

if im not mistaken, the nyko only gets double, which would be 10 hrs or so if the stock 3ds battery gets 5 hours.

not sure how much mAh the Nyko battery has but this one has 1300 mAh.

just curious if any saw this too and can confirm it actually offers that much battery life and if its safe.

I could have sworn the 3DS's built in original battery was 1300 mAH...... checking.

EDIT: Yes it is. The battery is CTR-003, and that only comes in 1300 mAH. (Google 3ds ctr-003)
No clue what they're doing, but somehting is VERY fishy with that batttery.

Don't buy this. The 1300 mAH is just a label, the battery itself is probably 500 mAH if you're lucky. Typical cheap Chinese sh*t if you ask me.

Um.... I really doubt that. A 500 mAH battery would last maybe 45 minutes in a 3DS.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Was just curious. I found the site browsing Kotaku about the new SupaBoy that site is releasing and saw that battery.

I haven't had battery troubles (yet), but that 20 hours sounds appealing

That it does, but a exploding battery doesn't.
