Hacking 3DXL 6.2.0-10E - URL the only way to enter Gateway mode?

Hi,
i would like to keep the browser/internet connection blocked for my kids 3DSXL. The old way via settings-profiles to enter the GW mode doesnt seem to work anymore with the latest GW version 3.1.1. correct? Is there any other way to enter GW mode beside the URL hack?

You still can and always will be able to use the profile exploit instead of the internet one

The problem is not the GW launcher that you have it's your 3DS firmware. 6.2 is too high, the DS profile exploit is only for <=4.5. So yeah, your only choice right now is to use the browser exploit or downgrade (but be weary of the risks of doing that with regards to save data)

OK, thanks. So downgrading from my current 6.2 to 4.5 will bring back the GW mode via profile.

Confirmed. Downgrading EUR V6.2 to V4.5 worked well - now the profile exploit can be used again. Thanks! Now I am working on the emuNAND thing, but that's a different story.
